Should it be

We work while young and healthy, oft too much to enjoy a break, and all for the goal of being wealthy, never asking what's really at stake. Our value defined by what we earn, no job? no money? no place for you here, yet for material goods, our souls don't yearn, but rather connection, compassion, it's clear. Our best years given to some company for money, which all gets spent to heal the damage done by that very job that slowly killed us, it's funny, and sad, and obvious, and in the end no one's won. We all know this, and this is how it will always be, without some intervention, perhaps a catastrophe, yet the bravest of us can break free, individually, and perhaps get others asking, is this how it should be?
